Day 40
Today at cardiac rehab, because my heart has been acting so normal, I was told that no more will I have to wear electrodes on my chest as I exercise. These electrodes with their accompanying sticky pads and battery packs have been part of my life at the hospital and clinic since December. Today I pulled off sticky pads #112 to #114 – give or take a few. Such news is cause to celebrate.
Also, today I received four “Get well” cards from neighbors and friends, an email from my high school youth director, a phone call from a once upon a time member of Prince of Peace just to make sure I am doing okay and best of all – a kiss on the cheek from one of our congregation’s delightful senior members who had not seen me since all this heart stuff started up.
Sweetness.
